Company Information

The SR Europe Investment Trust plc (the Company) is an investment trust which aims to achieve capital growth through an actively managed portfolio of European companies, including emerging Europe, Russia and the United Kingdom, without neglecting income.

The Company was launched in August 2001 as the result of a scheme of reconstruction of the SR Pan-European Investment Trust plc (an investment trust launched in 1980 and successfully managed by Sloane Robinson* from 1995 to 2001, further information).

The investments of the Company are managed out of London by Sloane Robinson in a manner similar to the former SR Pan-European Investment Trust plc. These investments are concentrated in the equity of companies in the UK and Western Europe. However, the managers also have the flexibility to invest a proportion of assets in the equity of companies in Eastern Europe, including Russia, should they see new opportunities.

The scope of the portfolio also allows for the investment in debt instruments issued by companies, governments and other bodies throughout the UK and the whole of Continental Europe, including Russia.

* Sloane Robinson refers to Sloane Robinson LLP a limited liability partnership established in 2004. Its predecessor Sloane Robinson Investment Services Ltd (formerly Sloane Robinson Investment Management Limited) was established in England in 1993. Sloane Robinson and its associates may have an investment in the Company.

SR Europe Investment Trust plc is incorporated in England and Wales with Registered number 4223875: an investment company within the meaning of Section 833 of the Companies Act 2006.
